The Veronica Onyeneke Foundation (VOF) is reaching vulnerable children, youths, and families in Rwanda through programs that bring hope, dignity, and real transformation. Our Rwanda Initiative is a growing expression of our mission to serve humanity with love and purposeful action.
What We Do in Rwanda
Educational Support
We assist children in low-income communities with school fees, books, uniforms, and mentorship. Our goal is simple: No child should miss school because of poverty.
Food Support
Hunger remains a major challenge for many families. VOF provides nutritious food packs to struggling households, helping them stay healthy and hopeful.
Youth Empowerment
We create opportunities for young people through:

- Small-scale skills development
- Guidance and motivation
These efforts build confidence and direction for Rwanda’s next generation.
Compassion Outreach
Our team visits distressed families, offering encouragement, emotional support, and a reminder that they are not alone.

Joselyne Umuhoza serves as the Representative of the Veronica Onyeneke Foundation in Rwanda. She is passionate about community development and committed to advancing the foundation’s mission of compassion, empowerment, and support for vulnerable communities.In her role, she coordinates and supports the foundation’s activities in Rwanda, working with local partners and communities to implement impactful programs and initiatives that promote positive social change.Alongside her responsibilities with the foundation, Joselyne also carries out other professional duties, bringing valuable experience, dedication, and leadership that further strengthen her ability to serve communities effectively.

Annet Kakuze is an entrepreneur based in Kigali, Rwanda, with a strong interest in business development and community impact. Gasaro Hilda Yannick is the Media Director of the Veronica Onyeneke Foundation, where she manages media relations, communication strategies, and public engagement for the foundation’s initiatives.She is the Chief Executive Officer of Infinity Travel Rwanda Ltd, a company dedicated to promoting tourism and providing quality travel services within and beyond Rwanda.Gasaro Hilda Yannick is also an undergraduate student at the University of Tourism Technology and Business Studies, where she is studying Tourism and Travel Management, further strengthening her knowledge and expertise in the tourism and hospitality sector.Through her work in media, leadership, and tourism, she remains passionate about connecting people, promoting destinations, and contributing to community development.
