THE 2 ND CHRISTMAS RELIEF OUTREACH FOR DISPLACED HOMES IN NIGERIA

Date: 22nd December, 2025.
Location: Ihitte-Isi-Mbieri, Mbaitolu, Imo State

Background and Purpose
In the spirit of Christmas and in line with our foundation’s commitment to humanitarian service, a special outreach program was organized on the 22nd of December to support families who have been displaced and are currently facing economic and social challenges. The outreach was designed to restore hope, show compassion, and remind beneficiaries that they are loved and not forgotten, especially during a season that emphasizes love, unity, and generosity

Nature of Outreach

The outreach aimed to:
 1. Feeding of Beneficiaries: Hundreds of meals were served to community members who were affected.

2. Distribution of food items: Beneficiaries received half bag of rice each to support families during this festive period.

3. Provision of cash support: Cash gift of 10,000 naira were given to the carefully selected and affected individuals to enable them attend to urgent needs such as transportation, medication, and other household necessities.

4. Beneficiary Interactions: Volunteers engaged with the beneficiaries, listening to their stories and offering words of encouragement, emotional support, and reassurance. Beneficiaries expressed heartfelt gratitude for the charitable works of Veronica Onyeneke Foundation, sharing stories of how the foundation’s efforts has positively impacted their lives

Beneficiaries
 A total of about 100 beneficiaries were reached during the outreach consisting mainly of:
• Displaced families
• Women and children
• Elderly individuals
All beneficiaries were carefully selected based on need and vulnerability

Conclusion
The 2nd Christmas relief Outreach held on the 22nd of December 2025 was a successful humanitarian intervention that aligned with the core values of compassion, service, and community support. By feeding about 100 people and providing cash assistance, the foundation was able to bring comfort, relief, and joy to displaced families during this Christmas season. The outreach reaffirmed our commitment to standing with vulnerable communities and continuously working towards improving their wellbeing.
