Today the world celebrates saint valentine who is remembered for his selfless sacrifice of love and love is the beauty of the soul as said by saint Augustine. This reminds us that love is not just an emotion but something that reflects and enhances the beauty within us.
This beauty is not the physical attraction people see but the innermost beauty of our soul.
In the words of David Wilkerson he said "love is not only something you feel, it is something you do"
We don't just feel love but we do things for love.
We give and expect nothing in return because of love, we feel the pains of another, we stand in for people who can't stand for themselves, we rekindle hope to the hopeless and send smiles across to those who are saddened and brought low by the challenges of life. All these we do for love.
No wonder Christ made love the greatest and commanded us to love another as we love ourselves.
If God loved the world so much that he sent His only son to pay the price for our sins and debt with His death on the cross, then why can't we extend arms of love to the needy, to the hopeless and to the broken hearted?
Let us allow the beauty of our souls(love 💖) radiate and reflect through others, let it uplift, let it encourage, let it heal and let it be the hallmark of our existence.
