Acts of love and charity are cherished by all who see or witness them. With the visual acts of charity displayed on many social media networks by people, many derive joy in watching these acts, wishing they could participate in them but such a feeling is not something to be worried about because charity must not be screen played. Love is the primary message of our Lord Jesus Christ; the greatest commandment of all (Mark 12:29-3) Helping one another is not 'that to be considered' but 'that which must be done'. This is because it is an injunction from Christ who is the perfect love (John 15:12).
On his agonizing journey to Golgotha, Veronica expressed one of the bravest acts of love to our lord. Having seen how his face was covered with blood and sweat, she volunteered, summoned courage, made her way amidst the crowd to our lord. She donated her "Veil" by using it to carefully help our lord wipe his blood-covered face (Sixth station of the Stations of the Cross). Such act of love, helped our suffering lord to have a clearer human view of his agonising journey.
Here in Veronica Foundation, One may ask, how can I help?
Just as St Veronica volunteered and donated her clothe for the good of our lord, you can help by making donations no matter how little to our foundation. The verb 'donate', comes from the Latin 'dare', which means to give. To give is a selfless act. When the poor widow made her own donation in the temple, our lord made it know to the people that she gave more than everyone else despite her little donation, our lord recommended hers as the greatest of all because of her heart (Mark 12: 41-44). You do know much the little you donate can go for the needy. At the beautiful gate, Peter and John gave the crippled man what they could afford. Your donation may not only be money but anything that will promote the mission of our foundation.
For those who may feel that they do not have anything to give, you can share our mission to the world. Tell your friends and well wishers about our foundation. Every action you take for the growth of our foundation whether you volunteer, donate or share will definitely make a difference and great impact on individuals and many who receive these acts of love.
Any act of love you make, will make a difference. Every one wants the world to be healed. We want the world to be a better place for us all, the question is, who is willing to volunteer, donate his or her clothe in wiping the face of the suffering world? Who is ready to change the narrative? You can be that change you want in the society. You can wipe the face of the suffering world.
